The activity of the department focuses on merger control, restrictive agreements and abuse of dominant position, as well as unfair commercial practices.
The department offers practical support and advice on a regular basis in administrative proceedings before the Antitrust Authority, in the relevant appeals, and in conjunction with the litigation department, in ordinary litigation originating from antitrust claims.
As part of the out-of-court activity of the Firm in this area of law, lawyers assist clients in the development and implementation of anti-trust compliance programmes, as well as in the drafting of a competitive analysis aimed at evaluating the impact of mergers and acquisitions.
