Pedersoli Studio Legale has been awarded “Banks Law Firm of the Year” at the third edition of the TopLegal Industry Awards. The event was held yesterday at Teatro Vetra in Milan with the participation of more than 400 professionals.

The technical committee, composed of eminent general counsels and directors of corporate and legal affairs of domestic companies and financial institutions, by explaining the award has pointed out how the Firm has “played a key role in two rescue deals in the Italian banking system”: The acquisition by Intesa Sanpaolo of the assets belonging to Banca Popolare di Vicenza and Veneto Banca, under compulsory administrative liquidation and the acquisition by Ubi Banca of 100% of corporate capital of Nuova Banca delle Marche, Nuova Banca dell’Etruria e del Lazio and Nuova Cassa di Risparmio di Chieti from the National Resolution Fund (Fondo Nazionale di Risoluzione), “first sale by the Italian National Resolution Fund”.

This new significant accolade confirms once again the leadership of the Firm in the banking sector following the award granted in the previous edition to Carlo Pedersoli as “Professional of the Year” in the same category.
