Pedersoli Studio Legale received the “Capital Elite" prize at the China Awards 2018.

This award, organised by Fondazione Italia Cina and Class Editori, celebrates each year entities, which excelled in the relations between Italy and China by seizing significant business opportunities in both markets.

The accolade has been granted to Pedersoli for the characteristics of excellence that distinguish the Chinese practice developed by the Firm in the last 8 years.

In such period, Pedersoli has been able to build solid relations in China with eminent local authorities, leading industrial players and financial institutions, developing a deep knowledge of Chinese culture and market dynamics, an essential element for the success of Italian/Chinese deals. The Firm distinguished itself also for having advised qualified Chinese investors – mainly state-owned companies – in strategic transactions in Italy. Finally, it has recently commenced to support leading Italian entities interested in investing in China.

Legal assistance to Chemchina in the acquisition of Pirelli provided by Pedersoli is one of the most significant transactions performed in the last years -, still the largest investment ever made in Italy by a Chinese player – and, more recently, the assistance in the acquisition of Nerviano Medical Science by Hefei Sari V-Capital Management.
