Riello Investimenti Partners Sgr completed the acquisition of 75% II Fornaio del Casale, a company specialising in the production and marketing of industrial pastry products and bread substitutes.

The transaction is the seventh acquisition by Italian Strategy Private Equity, third private equity fund managed by the asset management company.

The acquisition was executed with the involvement as minority co-investor of the permanent capital vehicle listed on Euronext Growth Milan, ABC Company S.p.A..

The deal was partially funded by Merito SGR through Merito Private Debt, which entered into a bond loan.

Riello Investimenti Partners SGR was assisted by Pedersoli Studio Legale with a team composed of Andrea Faoro (partner), Alessandro Passanisi (associate) and Amedeo Volpi (trainee).
