Pedersoli and Linklaters in the corporate capital increase of WIIT for institutional investors through an accelerated bookbuild (ABB)

WIIT S.p.A. (“WIIT”), one of the main European players in the market of Cloud Computing services for businesses focused on the provision of permanent Hybrid Cloud and Hosted Private Cloud services for critical applications, has successfully executed a placement of 2,100,000 WIIT ordinary shares, equal to approximately 7.9% of the corporate capital of the same made through the so-called accelerated bookbuild offering to institutional investors.

In particular, WIIT has placed 1,500,000 new shares arising from the corporate capital increase and the controlling shareholder (WIIT Fin S.r.l.) has assigned 600,000 WIIT shares.  Proceeds of the corporate capital increase will be applied by the company to pursue its external growth strategy started with recent acquisition transactions and increasing internationalisation process of the group controlled by WIIT, as well as for the purpose of increasing floating capital and facilitate trading in WIIT shares, promoting its liquidity.

In the context of the transaction, BNP Paribas and Intermonte SIM S.p.A. has acted as joint global coordinator and joint bookrunner in the private placement to institutional investors.
