Pedersoli Studio Legale has advised Snam in the acquisition, on a cash basis, of 70% Mieci and Evolve, two companies operating in the sector of energy efficiency in Italy.

Snam transaction, executed through its subsidiary fully owned by Snam4Efficiency, has an overall value of approximately 50 million Euro and will enable the company to implement a structural development of its assets portfolios and a consequent substantial improvement in its competitive positioning in this business.

As to legal aspects of transaction Snam has been assisted by Pedersoli Studio Legale, which acted with a team composed of Luca Saraceni (equity partner) and Gregorio Lamberti (associate).

The sellers have been advised by Giovannelli e Associati, with a team led by Alessandro Giovannelli, with support from Giulia Sannino, Lilia Montella and Matteo Bruni, as to corporate law aspects. Tax law matters of the transaction have been managed by Eugenio Romita, with support from Antonello Lops, while Giuseppe Matarazzo has provided legal assistance in relation to labour law issues.
