Pedersoli with CDP Venture Capital SGR in the launch of Fondo Technology Transfer

Pedersoli Studio Legale has advised CDP Venture Capital SGR in the incorporation and launch of Fondo Technology Transfer, a reserved multi-sector fund, aimed at supporting the birth and development of so-called deep tech start-ups, coming from research areas and with broad industrial development prospects.

With an initial budget of 150 million Euro, Fondo Technology Transfer, will be composed of a “direct” sector, dedicated to direct investments in start-ups and spin-offs, and by an “indirect” sector, with a specific attention to investment vehicles specialised in tech transfer. Under the direction of Claudia Pingue, supported by the senior investment manager Rita Verderosa, the Fund will focus on some areas of scientific and technological research that are particularly relevant for our country and promising in terms of venture capital.

The financing of the early stages of start-ups and spin-offs will be carried out through agreements with universities and research centres and by activating also the operation of new specialised vertical fund managers.

Pedersoli has advised CDP Venture Capital SGR with a team led by Giovanni Bandera (equity partner), who have supported the in-house team led by Alessandro Di Gioia and composed of Elisa Toriello, Debora Perciballi and Gabriele Petrini.
