Metrika, a private equity fund with an exclusive made-in-Italy industrial vocation, acquired 100% of Alimac Group, a world leader in the production and marketing of adhesive tape handles for beverage and tissues & toiletries sectors.
Metrika was advised by Pedersoli Studio Legale with a team composed of Ascanio Cibrario (equity partner), Luca Rossi Provesi (partner), as well as Edoardo Augusto Bononi, Raffaele Mittaridonna and Giorgia Patrizi (associates) for M&A aspects. Labour law matters were managed by Francesco Airaldi (senior lawyer). The sellers of Alimac Group were assisted by BonelliErede, as to M&A aspects, in the person of Gianfranco Veneziano (partner) and Niccolò Ghizzani (associate). For labour law aspects acted a team composed of Vittorio Pomarici (partner), Federico Carolla (associate) and Claudia Numerati.
The transaction was funded by Banco BPM S.p.A., with support from Simmons & Simmons, acting with a team composed of Davide D’Affronto (partner) and Francesco Burla (associate), including Francesco Oreste (trainee), while, tax aspects were managed by Marco Palanca (partner) and Giulia Aglialoro (associate).
