Riello Investimenti Partners Sgr executed the contractual agreements for the acquisition of a majority interest of II Fornaio del Casale, a company specialising in the production and marketing of industrial pastry products and bread substitutes.

The transaction represents the seventh acquisition of Italian Strategy Private Equity fund, the third private equity fund managed by the asset management company.

Closing is expected within the month of July 2023.

Riello Investimenti Partners SGR was advised by Pedersoli Studio Legale with a team composed of Andrea Faoro (partner) with Alessandro Passanisi (associate) and Amedeo Volpi (trainee). Labour law aspects were managed by Francesco Airaldi (senior lawyer) while Alessandro Bardanzellu (partner) with Martina Oricco (trainee) acted in relation to golden power aspects.
