MUEGGE, a world leader in microwave and plasma technology, as part of its strategic growth plan has acquired the entire share capital of LEANFA, Italian specialist in microwave and high-frequency solid-state generators, thus completing its product portfolio.
LEANFA is an established and successful company in the field of solid-state radiofrequency technology. It offers its technology partners and international manufacturing corporations customised solutions in the field of microwave and plasma technology, based on semiconductor solutions. LEANFA’s microwave and radiofrequency modules form the high-tech core of the new “Electromedical Devices (MedTech)” product line, for a number of innovative hyperthermia-based applications developed to meet the ever-increasing demands of modern medical diagnosis and clinical therapy. The acquisition of LEANFA thus enables MUEGGE to implement its growth strategies in Italy by taking an important step in the healthcare market.
